Residency can be defined as the location where someone currently lives or resides. This can be a  home, apartment, condominium,  liveaboard, or any other form of accommodation. Such term can, however, be transient in nature because people often possess more than one residence. A domicile on the on the other hand, is the primary place residency or home base so to speak.
