The United States Coast Guard gathers casualty and pollution data from various offices through the United States. The collection period began in 1973 and is ongoing. However, the information covered here is only available for incidents prior to 2015.

Access to the downloads is available from the USCG website as shown in the WikiLinks for this page. This is raw data and available in text delimited formats only and is free of charge. There is, however, a searchable version available from a subscription website. A link to this service is shown in the WikiTags for this page.
Data Provided
The download versions are quite extensive and include a considerable amount of data about the vessels and events. The searchable website results are more summarized.
